Anime Lovers, Weebs, Japanophiles, or anyone who just wants to be transported to another world, You’re officially invited to ANIMANIA – The Anime Club Night.

Now’s your chance to go super saiyan on the dance floor while we spin your favorite anime tracks from favorites like Naruto, My Hero Academia, One Piece, Sailor Moon, and more! We’ll be playing One Punch Man and One hit wonders. If it’s an anime opening you don’t actually skip, it’s on our playlist.

You’ll want to drink like Roronoa Zoro when you get a taste of our specialty drinks like ” The Squirtle”. Even if you forget Your Name, you won’t forget this night! Just make sure you leave in One Piece.

Costumes and Cosplay are encouraged! Strap on your ninja headband, sailor outfit, or suit up like Deku. Come join our pirate crew and take a bite of the fun-fun fruit.

Let’s get Bippity-Boppity-Boozed up with specialty drinks for those bold enough to try a poisoned apple. We can't promise your prince will awaken you from your slumber but it will most definitely knock you out.

Del Ray’s annual Halloween Parade starts at Mount Vernon Avenue, south of E. Bellefonte, and continues down to the Mount Vernon Recreation Center play fields. Costumed kids, pets, and strollers can march in the parade.

Awards will be given for Best Pet Costume, Best Decorated Business, Best Decorated Home, and Best Decorated Stroller.

SAVE THE DATE for everyone's favorite kid-friendly Halloween event at Forest Hills Playground, this year’s SPOOKTACULAR is happening Sunday, October 29th from 10 AM - 12 PM. Parents and kids of all ages are invited to dress in their favorite costumes and gather at Forest Hills Playground for spooky-inspired activities followed by Trick or Treating at small businesses along Connecticut Ave in Wakefield, Forest Hills, and Van Ness. This event is free. Everyone is welcome!

AGUA, SOL Y SERENO on May 12-15, 2021

AGUA, SOL Y SERENO from Santurce, Puerto Rico, is a dynamic and multigenerational theater collective recognized for its deep social and human commitment. Established in 1993 by Cathy Vigo and Pedro Adorno with co-founders Miguel Zayas and Rudek Pérez, the group is known for developing a dynamic brand of popular and experimental performance featuring colorful and iconic costumes, set pieces, and “cabezudos” or giant papier maché heads. For this virtual residency, a special screening of original production ANTULIO PARRILLA: COOPERATIVISTA EN GRACIA is matched with a behind-the-scenes tour of the company’s workshop and talk with company members! This artist residency will be conducted primarily in Spanish.

Bring the entire family for the museum’s annual Kwanzaa celebration program. Enjoy energetic and interactive introduction to Kwanzaa with Melvin Deal and the African Heritage Dancers & Drummers. The audience participatory program includes dancers, singers, music, colorful costumes, and lively characters designed for young children and adults alike. During the performance and afterwards, kids can also enjoy making Kwanzaa-inspired arts and crafts from a variety of materials. Art workshops will be led artist/educators Brian Barber and Alma Robinson. Free fun for the entire family!
