Chef Terrance Murphy with his Juice Si

Learn about the long history of eel and other seafood in the Potomac River and how the many cultures along the river have subsisted on seafood. Our guest, Chef Terrance Murphy of Meallennial Living, will be preparing a dish inspired by the traditional foods of this region using a mix of seasonal and foraged ingredients. Registrants will receive a recipe card. Drop-in anytime between 1-3 pm for this free program. Donations accepted.

This demonstration takes place outdoors on the National Colonial Farm. Unvaccinated visitors over the age of 2 years are asked to wear masks, during the program, and all visitors are required to wear a mask inside the Visitor Center and other public buildings.

Join us for a day of presentations featuring speakers from Colonial Williamsburg, Genesee Country Village, and Hampton Historic Site on the duties of the dairymaid, period correct cattle breeds, and investigations of Tidewater dairy buildings.
