Dogs of all ages, sizes, and abilities have a chance to go for the gold at the Fast & Furriest Doggie Olympics 2024. The obstacle courses, agility games, and best dressed are based on a lot of silliness, not much teamwork - just a TON OF FUN. All dogs must be current on vaccinations. There will be many winners. Pre-registration is required. Pet related vendors will be onsite. Shop for everything from doggie foods to clothing. Take a self-guided tour of the Prince George's Room, participate in a genealogy discussion, play Juneteenth Bingo, and create a family photo frame or contribute to a community poster. Our celebration honors the values of freedom, family, and African American history. Registration is encouraged but not required!

Sudanese Diaspora Network (SDN) would like to cordially invite you to join us for our Layali Ramadan to break our fasts with the community and share the wonderful experience of Ramadan. The night will include dinner, Islamic reflections, comedy, Sudanese trivia, live auctions and much more!

All proceeds will be going to support health and wellness organizations in Sudan.

We will be holding our Iftar on Saturday, April 8th, at Lyon Park Community Center. Doors will open at 6:30pm and the event will promptly begin at 7:00pm. Limited tickets will be sold at the door for $25.
