Santa makes his annual return for a fun day of holiday merriment with some changes and new activities. Make memories with crafts, activities, & festive refreshments. Advance registration required.

Parents, dress your little one in their favorite festive pajamas and bring them to Temple Hills Community Center! Kids will watch holiday movies, do arts & crafts, and play games while you do some holiday shopping. Light refreshments will be served.

Join us for a FREE, family-friendly event celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month! The celebración will include an art exhibit of artists Silvia Martinez (Puerto Rico) and Pepe Piedra (Peru) exhibit: “Icons, Idioms and Myth,” live music, dancing, arts & crafts activities for children, and light refreshments.
UpSpring's annual winter show is another ridiculous romp with your favorite peddlers of pizzazz. This year's performance, based on the Hieronymus Bosch painting "Garden of Earthly Delights," will feature many delights (and one or two demons). Wind your way through an evening filled with treats and tricks, and stick around to chat with our artists. Featuring new work on trapeze, sling, and more. If the weather permits, we'll have fire spinning outdoors. This is a drop-in performance, so pop by anytime between 6 and 8pm to enjoy festive refreshments and catch an act or two.
Dress up for a fun Halloween "party" at the historic cemetery in Alexandria. Tours, adult beverages, scavenger hunt, and much more.

An art exhibition and public reception displaying the works of Puerto Rican artist Aflredo Ortiz.
The unveiling of the 2023 Hispanic Heritage Month poster by high school student artists in partnership with Pyramid Atlantic Art Center.

On June 19th, 2022, the Capital Region Cycling Network (CRCN) will host the second annual Fathers and Family / Juneteenth bike event, a 36-mile ride to Annapolis, Maryland. Registration is required and experienced riders only are encouraged to join. Food, refreshments, and music will be provided as we invite you and your family to join The Prince George's County Commission on Fathers, Men, and Boys along with My Brother's Keeper in celebration of Juneteenth and Father's Day.
Celebrate Dad at Charm City Run! Join us on Father’s Day for a Fun Run and Walk around Lake Elkhorn! Light refreshments will be served afterward.
Let’s take a look back at the summer of 1964, when more than 700 student activists took segregated Mississippi by storm by registering voters, creating freedom schools, and establishing the Mississippi Freedom Democratic Party. The Greenbelt Labor Day Festival was started in 1955 as a way of raising funds to build a Youth Center. It has been held every year since by the Greenbelt Labor Day Festival Committee, one of the largest all-volunteer organizations in Maryland.
The 2019 Greenbelt Labor Day Festival Parade will take place on Monday, September 2, from 10am to noon

A reading and open mic with the Poet Laureate. Featuring the Prince George’s County Poet Laureate “Sistah Joy” Alford and Youth Poet Laureate Mi’Jan Credle.
