Rainbow Tea

Celebrate Pride Month at Montpelier with the Rainbow Tea!

Indulge in fine tea fare including scones, finger sandwiches and pastries, and your choice of two quality, loose leaf teas, all served on pretty china in Montpelier’s elegant East Wing. With a crystal chandelier and windows looking out over Montpelier’s beautiful grounds, it’s the perfect spot to celebrate this joyous time of year. And if you’re lucky, the sun will shine through the chandelier creating rainbows on the walls! If you’d like, come early, at 1pm, for a talk on Trans history by Matthew Champagne, Manager of Learning, Interpretation and Engagement at Surratt House. Talk is free, and open to adults, even if they’re not going to the tea.

For more information on the tea or talk, call 301-377-7817. RSVP by June 4.
